Frequently Asked Questions

What is coaching about?

Coaching is about facilitating self-discovery, fostering personal and professional development, and guiding individuals towards living a fulfilled and purpose-driven life. Read about my coaching philosophy.

My coaching provides you with a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts, feelings, and aspirations. Through deep conversations and thought-provoking questions, I help you gain a deep understanding of yourself, your strengths, and your values and guide you towards new possibilities and perspectives you may have never considered. This newfound self-awareness becomes the cornerstone of your personal growth and empowers you to make intentional choices aligned with your authentic self.

What areas can coaching help me with?

I am currently offering two programs:

Inner Strength Coaching: this is my signature personal coaching program for those that want to work with me one-to-one on a journey of self discovery, peeling away the layers of conditioning, embracing who they are at their core and having the confidence to create their own life blueprint.

Clarity & Confidence: a 4 week online group coaching course that helps you uncover a newfound self-awareness that gives you the confidence to make intentional choices aligned with your authentic self.

I also offer coaching and speaking engagements in the corporate arena.

What is the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching and therapy are unique forms of support that serve distinct purposes. Each approach has its own unique benefits.

Coaching is primarily present and future focused with a goal of helping individuals achieve specific objectives. It involves partnering with a coach who acts as a facilitator, guiding clients towards self-discovery, setting goals, and developing strategies to overcome obstacles.

Coaches typically work with clients who are seeking personal or professional development, and they help individuals gain clarity, overcome obstacles and move toward their desired outcomes. They utilise various tools and techniques to foster self-awareness, develop new skills, and create action plans.

On the other hand, therapy delves into deep-rooted emotional issues and psychological challenges, aiming to acknowledge, understand, and heal from past trauma, unresolved conflicts, or long-standing mental health disorders. Therapists employ techniques to promote emotional well-being, facilitate personal growth, and improve overall mental health.

It is also worth noting that coaching and therapy are not mutually exclusive. In fact, they can complement each other when integrated judiciously. Coaches may recognise certain emotional or psychological barriers that could benefit from therapeutic interventions and may refer clients to therapists for deeper exploration. Likewise, therapists may identify areas where coaching techniques can support clients in achieving their desired outcomes.
Ultimately, the decision between coaching and therapy hinges on the individual's unique circumstances, preferences, and goals. Both approaches offer valuable tools and support to help individuals overcome challenges, grow personally and professionally, and lead fulfilling lives.

How much does it cost?

You’ve might have heard that coaching is expensive; and it can be. However, I always try to keep my prices reasonable as I am committed to ensuring my services are accessible.

Please visit the pages for individual coaching and group coaching for more information on costs.

I understand that financial circumstances can vary greatly, and I believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to benefit from coaching. For this reason, I reserve some spots where clients can pay according to a sliding scale. This way, clients have the flexibility to pay an amount that aligns with their current financial capabilities, while still receiving the same exceptional level of support and guidance.
